Tina Bokuchava is the leader of the “Unity-National Movement“. Tina Bokuchava’s statement was a response to Matthew Miller, spokesperson for the US State Department who stated that the US would “closely monitor” the elections in Georgia.
“Partners are aware that the pro-Western Georgians, who chose the Euro-Atlantic option, now have an anti-Western Government that denies us the chance to prosper in Europe. It is because of this that there is so much attention paid to Georgia and the elections in 10 days. These elections will reflect the will the Georgian people. This is, among other things a guarantee that Ivanishvili won’t dare steal his own choice for Georgians – a choice which will be definitely European,” said Tina Bokuchava.
