The opposition will hold a rally on Rustaveli Avenue at 19:00 today, 4 November, in Tbilisi. This is in response to the recent parliamentary election on October 26, which was labelled as ‘rigged.’ by the international organizations and the opposition. On October 31, opposition leaders announced their plans for a rally to the media.
Ana Dolidze is the leader of “Strong Georgia” and she said that her priority was to have these elections recognized as invalid. She also declared that the protest would be peaceful and well-coordinated.
