Protests Planned Across Georgia for 122nd Day
Demonstrations will take place across the country today, on the 122nd day of protests. The main events are planned in Tbilisi and the regions.
In Tbilisi, several demonstrations have been organized:
* At 2 pm, a women’s drivers’ march will be held at the Scoot Scoot showroom.
* At 7 pm, a protest will take place at the Public Broadcaster.
* At 8 pm, another protest will be held in front of the Parliament.
There are also protests planned in various regions:
* In Gori, protesters will demand the release of political prisoners and new elections at 5 pm in front of the City Council.
* In Akhaltsikhe, a protest is scheduled for 6 pm in front of the statue of Shota Rustaveli.
* In Batumi, protesters will demonstrate their support for the homeland at 7 pm in front of the Constitutional Court.
* In Zugdidi, protesters will show their opposition to the Russian regime at 7 pm in front of the Regional Administration.
* In Telavi, a continuous protest is planned for 7 pm in front of the City Hall.
* In Kutaisi, protesters will demand European integration and reject Russian influence at 7 pm in front of the City Hall.
* In Chkhorotsku, a protest has been organized for 8 pm in front of the City Hall.
