Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky responded to Trump’s attack, saying that the US president was indeed living in a disinformation space. He also said that the US had helped Russia’s Vladimir Putin to break out of years of isolation. In response to the ongoing war in Ukraine, the EU has announced new sanctions on Russia. The sanctions target Russian aluminium and dozens of vessels suspected of illegally transporting oil.
