Turkish President Congratulates Georgia’s New Leader.
The Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, has sent a congratulatory message to Mikheil Kavelashvili on his election as the new President of Georgia.
In the letter, Erdoğan expresses his hopes for improved relations between Turkey and Georgia during Kavelashvili’s term in office. He also wishes him success in fulfilling his duties.
According to Erdoğan, he is confident that friendly relations and close cooperation will continue between the two countries. He wants these ties to serve the common interests of both nations and bring prosperity to the region.
Georgia’s electoral college elected Mikheil Kavelashvili as president on December 14th.
