**Russian Attacks in Ukraine Kill Two, Injure Six**
On December 5, Russian attacks killed at least two people and injured six others across Ukraine. The attacks took place in various regions of the country.
**Ukraine’s Air Force Repels Drone Attack**
Ukraine’s Air Force intercepted 30 out of 44 Russian drones launched overnight. Russia also fired two Iskander-M ballistic missiles during the assault. In Kharkiv Oblast, a residential area was hit by a Russian strike, killing a 40-year-old man. A 65-year-old man in Kupiansk was wounded.
**Other Attacks Across Ukraine**
In Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, an 88-year-old woman was killed and a 64-year-old man injured in a Russian attack. The attack also damaged private homes and vehicles. In Donetsk Oblast, four residents were wounded – three in Kostiantynivka and one in Shevchenkove.
**Ukraine’s Air Force Intercepts Drones**
Ukraine’s Air Force intercepted drones targeting various regions of the country, including Kyiv, Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, and Odesa oblasts. No casualties were reported in these areas.
**North Korean Soldiers in Russia**
The Ukrainian military-run National Resistance Center reported that North Korean soldiers have been stationed at observation posts and checkpoints in Russia’s Kursk Oblast as a “second echelon” not involved in direct combat.
