**Ukraine to Hold Meeting with Foreign General Staff Teams**
President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on March 28 that Ukrainian, British and French general staff representatives will meet in Ukraine within a week. The meeting aims to discuss the potential deployment of foreign troops to the country.
Other countries are expected to participate, but Zelensky did not specify them. This comes after a Paris summit where European countries moved forward with plans to send soldiers to Ukraine as part of a “reassurance force” in case of a ceasefire with Russia.
**Meeting Details**
The meeting will be attended by countries that fully support the deployment of a peacekeeping contingent on Ukrainian territory. Zelensky stated that France, the UK, and Ukraine will definitely participate.
A next meeting is planned at the level of national security advisors soon after. In mid-March, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer presented plans to send 10,000 peacekeeping troops to Ukraine.
**Global Reaction**
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio assured that the US has secured data and ensured its transfer to relevant authorities. German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius expressed Germany’s readiness to participate in any negotiation result.
Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin listed China, India, Brazil, and South Africa as potential participants in a transitional administration for Ukraine.
