**UK Foreign Secretary Visits Ukraine**
The UK’s top diplomat, David Lammy, arrived in Kyiv on February 5. He was greeted by Ukrainian Ambassador Valerii Zaluzhnyi.
“I am grateful that the United Kingdom is always with us in these difficult times,” said Mr. Zaluzhnyi on Telegram.
Mr. Lammy’s visit comes after UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer promised to increase military support for Ukraine. He said the UK would provide more help in 2025 than ever before.
The UK had already planned to send a large amount of military aid to Ukraine this year. They have committed £3 billion (around $3.6 billion) for lethal assistance.
In January, the UK and Ukraine signed a long-term partnership agreement. This deal covers cooperation in many areas, including the military, energy, science, culture, economy, and more.
