**UK Imposes Sanctions on Two Georgian Judges**
The UK government has imposed sanctions on two judges, Levan Murusidze and Mikheil Chinchaladze. This decision was made after the UK government found reasonable grounds to suspect that they were involved in serious corruption.
According to the statement, Judge Mikheil Chinchaladze used his position as Chairman of the Tbilisi Court of Appeal to help the Georgian Dream Party. He did this by making sure that judicial appointments and decisions favored the party. In return, he received a financial advantage.
Similarly, Levan Murusidze, as a Member of the High Council of Justice of Georgia, also used his position to favor the same party. He made sure that judicial appointments and decisions helped the Georgian Dream Party, and in return, he received a financial advantage.
The UK has imposed financial sanctions on these judges, which means their funds and economic resources will be frozen. This is according to the Global Anti-Corruption Sanctions Regulations.
