The British Foreign Secretary has accused Russia for using choking gases from the First World War on Ukrainian battlefields.
The Telegraph reports that Britain has imposed sanctions against Russia’s chemical warfare group and its commander over the alleged use of choking gas from the First World War in Ukraine.
These actions follow reports from General Staff of Ukrainian Armed Forces regarding the significant increase in the usage of chemical weapons by Russian Forces in Ukraine. The sanctions imposed by Britain are part of the UK‘s efforts to combat what they see as Russia’s violations of international laws regarding the use of chemical weapons.
