**Ukraine Introduces New Drone to Target Russian Vehicles**
The Ukrainian Defense Ministry has introduced a new high-speed drone called Vidmak (Witcher). The drone is designed to intercept and destroy Russian vehicles. It can operate day and night, identifying and tracking targets.
The Vidmak is made by a Ukrainian company. Its high-speed maneuverability allows it to chase down any wheeled Russian vehicle. The drone’s payload is strong enough to destroy armored targets and fortified positions.
**Increased Drone Production**
Ukraine has increased its domestic drone production over the past year. The Defense Ministry launched an initiative called “Drone Line” to accelerate the deployment of drones on the battlefield. Ukraine also developed long-range missile-drone hybrids, such as the Palianytsia and Peklo models.
The Peklo hybrid drone has a range of 700 kilometers (430 miles) and a top speed of 700 km/h (430 mph). President Volodymyr Zelensky aims to produce at least 30,000 long-range drones in 2025.
Poland’s Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz said Poland will continue to help Ukraine. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that the U.S. didn’t feel it was conducive to have something out there at the UN that’s antagonistic to either side.
**Russian Attacks**
Russia regularly attacks Ukrainian cities and villages with drones, missiles, glide bombs, and artillery. Two people were killed, and six were injured in Russian aerial attacks on Sumy Oblast on February 24. A Ukrainian drone attack set a Russian oil refinery on fire.
