**More than 25 people killed in Ukraine as Russian strikes continue**
Ukraine has been hit by a new wave of Russian attacks, with at least 25 people killed and many more injured. The latest strikes have targeted several regions, including Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Odesa.
**Deadly attack on Donetsk Region**
One of the deadliest attacks occurred in the town of Dobropillya in Donetsk Region. At least 11 people were killed when two ballistic missiles hit residential buildings and a shopping center. Emergency services arrived to help but Russia launched another strike that deliberately targeted the rescuers, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
**Other attacks across Ukraine**
In addition to the attack on Dobropillya, nine people were killed and 13 injured in other strikes on Friday and Saturday. A drone attack on a company in Bohodukhiv, Kharkiv Region, killed three people and injured seven. Another drone attack hit civilian and energy infrastructure in Odesa.
**US pauses military aid to Ukraine**
The US has paused its military aid and intelligence-sharing with Ukraine following the Oval Office clash between President Donald Trump and Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky last week. The US has also suspended Ukraine’s access to some satellite imagery.
**European leaders show support for Ukraine**
In response to the US move, European leaders met in Brussels to approve plans to spend more on defense and renew their support for Ukraine. Next week, Trump’s special envoy will hold talks with Ukrainian negotiators in Saudi Arabia to discuss a possible ceasefire with Russia.
