Russian Airstrikes Destroy Sudzha

The city of Sudzha in Kursk region has been severely damaged by Russian airstrikes. This was confirmed by Andriy Kovalenko, official.

Most civilian buildings have been destroyed and fighting is still going on around the city. -in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi also reported that Russian aviation carried out many attacks on Sudzha.

The Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces said that their forces repelled 17 enemy attacks in the Kursk region on March 13. The Russians launched 334 artillery strikes, including 12 from multiple rocket launchers and 29 airstrikes with guided bombs.

Russia claimed have taken control of Sudzha, but have not confirmed this. It is still unclear if their forces have withdrawn from the city.

Some reports said that Russian forces were advancing towards Zaoleshchenka, a village northwest of Sudzha. But Oleksandr Syrskyi assured that intense fighting was still going on in the suburbs and surrounding areas.

A group called DeepState also said that Ukrainian forces had not fully withdrawn from Sudzha. They reported fierce battles on the northern and western outskirts of the city.

The situation in Sudzha remains unclear, with some reports saying Russian forces have taken control and others saying fighting is still going on.
