**Ukraine Shows Off New Drone Tech to Germany’s Scholz and Zelenskyy**
On December 2, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Kyiv. They attended an exhibition showcasing the latest drone technology.
The event featured new unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), ground robots, and drone swarm control systems. These included AI-guided drones developed by Ukraine and Germany together. The tech is being used to help the Ukrainian army during the ongoing war with Russia.
**Advanced Drone Systems**
The drones shown at the exhibition had advanced features like artificial intelligence and computer vision. They were designed to work automatically, making it easier for the Ukrainian army to target enemy forces. One of the drones was made by a German company that has a production center in Ukraine.
The leaders were also briefed on the capabilities of these new systems. The aim is to improve the effectiveness of the Ukrainian defense efforts and make targeting more efficient.
**Ukraine’s Response**
A Ukrainian publication, Liga, noted that some of the drones shown at the exhibition looked like ones used by Russia. These included models resembling Iranian Shahed and Russian Lantset UAVs, which are used by Russia to attack Ukraine regularly.
However, the Ukrainian-made drones were different in size and design compared to their Russian counterparts.
