Russian President Vladimir Putin’s decree is against the law, say Ukrainian officials.
The decree orders Ukrainians to leave occupied areas and Russia by September 10. Those who don‘t will have to change their immigration status.
Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Heorhii Tykhyi said this is part of a bigger plan to wipe out Ukraine as a country.
Putin’s decree also says that people from other countries living in the occupied areas must be tested for diseases and drug use by June 10.
