**Ukraine Receives $1.35 Billion Grant from US**
The United States has given Ukraine a grant of $1.35 billion for social and humanitarian expenses. This money will be used to pay teachers’ salaries and other important costs.
This is the largest grant yet, bringing the total amount of international help for Ukraine’s budget to over $100 billion since the war started. The funds were sent through the World Bank and USAID, working with the US Treasury and State Department.
Ukraine’s Finance Minister said that the US has given them a total of $28.2 billion since February 2022. This is more than any other country in the world.
**US Help Keeps Growing**
The US plans to give Ukraine $7.8 billion this year, and they have already managed to get $5.2 billion of that money. A government official confirmed that over $100 billion has been given to Ukraine from around the world since the war started.
The US has also helped Ukraine with military aid, which is nearly half of all international defense help given to them. This is important because it will help Ukraine fight against Russian aggression.
**US Help May Change**
Some people are worried that the new US administration might stop giving money to Ukraine. They are working quickly to give out the rest of the $6 billion in military aid before the new president takes office.
