At least one civilian was injured in the assault. Ukraine claims it has downed 40 drones. Kyiv and Starokostiantyniv were among the targets.
Ukraine’s Air Force has reported the Russian nighttime attack. The attack involved 50 Shahed drones, unidentified UAVs, and two Kh-22 cruise missiles fired by Tu-22M3 aircraft above the Black Sea, as well as two Kh-59 guided rockets launched in Bryansk Oblast.
Russia continues to launch deliberate daily air strikes on residential areas, in an attempt to terrorize civilians. Every night, the Russian forces launch dozens – usually Iranian designed – Shahed 131 and 136 long-range “kamikaze drones. They also often launch several missiles.
