Ukraine seeks bilateral agreement to advance NATO membership with pro-Russian Hungary

Public broadcaster Suspilne reported that Ukraine’s Zelenskyy announced the ongoing preparations of a bilateral document between Ukraine & Hungary, which aims to resolve historical and current misunderstandings.
Hungary, the member with the most pro-Russian views, has consistently opposed collective to Ukraine. It is the only EU country that refuses to send arms to Kyiv and maintains close ties with since the full-scale invasion.
Zelenskyy, speaking in Zakarpattia Oblast Zelenskyy highlighted the document’s ability to address complex issues. He focused minorities rights and geopolitical problems.
“We would like to see a bilateral agreement between Ukraine and Hungary,” said he.
