**Ukraine Shoots Down Most Russian Drones**
On the night of November 30, Ukraine’s air defenses shot down eight out of ten Russian drones that were launched. The Russian drones targeted Ukraine with Iranian-designed Shahed drones and others from the Russian oblasts of Kursk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.
The drones were shot down over several Ukrainian cities, including Kyiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Dnipro, and Kherson. This is part of a larger pattern of daily drone attacks by Russia in recent months. These attacks are seen as a tactic to weaken Ukraine’s air defenses before launching bigger strikes.
**Other Attacks Reported**
No casualties were reported from the drone attack on November 30. However, other attacks by Russia resulted in at least two deaths and six injuries over the past day. One person was killed and six others were wounded in Kherson Oblast, while another man was killed in an aviation bomb attack in Kharkiv Oblast.
**Ukraine’s Air Defenses Busy**
Since Russia’s full-scale invasion began in 2022, Ukraine has detected almost one million aerial targets in its airspace. This includes more than 175,000 airplanes, 100,000 helicopters, 57,000 drones, and over 13,000 missiles of various types.
