**Ukraine Tests New Type of Drone**
Ukrainian developers have tested a new type of drone. This one is guided by fiber–optic cables and has six rotors.
The goal was to see if these drones could fly through forests without being jammed. Jamming refers to the act of disrupting electronic signals with technology.
According to reports, the tests were successful. The drones flew 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) without any interruptions. This is a significant achievement for Ukraine’s military.
The development of this new type of drone could be useful in Ukraine’s conflict with neighboring Russia. It would allow Ukrainian forces to target enemy positions more effectively, even if those positions are trying to jam their signals.
