Ukraine Won’t Recognize Occupied Territories as Russian
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine has said that the country will not officially recognize the territories it occupies as part of Russia.
In an interview, he mentioned that Ukraine doesn’t have enough power to take back these areas on its own. He said that if they had more support from other countries, they might be able to advance faster and regain control.
However, Zelenskyy made it clear that even with this lack of strength, Ukraine will not make peace by giving up land. He believes that doing so would mean forgiving Russia for all the damage it has done to Ukraine.
