Ukraine’s intelligence claims that a Russian major was killed by a car bomb in occupied Luhansk.

The (HUR), on October 19, reported that Russian Major Dmitriy Privukha was killed after his car exploded in the middle of Russian-occupied Luhansk.
HUR reported on that “on Oct. 18, 2024 at around 11:40 am, a UAZ Patriot vehicle exploded” in one of the streets of Luhansk. According to HUR, Pervukha was in the car.
Pervukha is accused of crimes against Ukraine. He was a member of the 273rd Intelligence Center, which is located in in Russia.
According to HUR, Pervukha was the “chief of staff” for military service and military security in the occupied territories.
The announced on October 18 that a criminal investigation was opened to investigate explosion that killed a man who has not been named and injured a woman in a second car.
HUR did not claim responsibility for the attack, even though it called Pervukha a “war criminal” and said all crimes against Ukraine would “justly be punished.”
Since the beginning of Russia’ full-scale invasion in Crimea and parts of Luhansk, Donetsk, and Crimea oblasts, there have been numerous reports of assassinations of officers, officials, and collaborates using car bombs.
