Ukraine’s military intelligence (HUR) has announced that three senior Russian officers were killed in a strike using Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS) and drones. The attack took place in an occupied area of Zaporizhia Oblast, according HUR.

The three officers who were killed are:

* Captain Nagorny Dmitry Olegovich, commander of the 1st battalion of the 135th motorized rifle regiment

* Captain Fomin Yuri Viktorovich, commander of the anti-aircraft battery of the 4th Guards Military Base

The HUR said it obtained intelligence on a planned meeting of the Russian personnel and worked with the and (SBU) to plan the attack.

**HIMARS: A Game-Changer for Ukraine**

HIMARS is a multiple rocket launcher system that has been a game-changer for Ukraine in its fight against Russia. The system allows Ukraine to target Russian forces from a safe distance, using radar-guided rockets with a range of around 70 kilometers.
