**Ukraine‘s Top Military Officer Resigns**
A top military officer in Ukraine, Brigadier General Hennadii Shapovalov, has resigned from his position. He made the announcement on February 4.

Shapovalov is a graduate of the U.S. Army War College. He previously commanded Ukraine’s 59th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade and was promoted to brigadier general in 2022.
