Ukraine’s spy chief says 11,000 North Korean soldiers are ready to fight against Ukraine from November

Kyrylo Budanov is the head of Ukraine’s Main Directorate. He has stated that approximately 11,000 North Korean soldiers are currently being trained in eastern Russia.
The “strategic partnership” that the two countries signed in the beginning of this year has led to increased military cooperation. If confirmed, taking part in the Russo-Ukraine War would be North Korea’s very first direct military involvement in a European conflict. This could have a profound impact on relations and prompt other countries to reconsider their military support policies, including South Korea.
According to the director, they will be prepared to participate in combat against Ukraine as soon as 1 .
