The drone procurement spans a wide range of military applications, from night-vision reconnaissance to deep-strike attack capabilities. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated that Ukraine will continue to ramp up its defense production, with plans to produce at least 30,000 long-range drones.
**Breakdown of Drone Deliveries**
The ministry reported the following breakdown of drone deliveries:
* 40,000 multi-rotor reconnaissance drones, including over 12,000 night-vision capable models
* 5,000 aircraft-type reconnaissance drones
* 6,000 deep-strike attack drones
* 2,000 reusable attack drones
* 5,000 reusable FPV (first-person view) copters
**State Special Communications Service Contributes**
The State Special Communications Service provided 1.1 million FPV kamikaze drones, which were ordered specifically to meet combat unit requirements.

The ministry stated that ensuring defense forces with modern drones remains a priority, allowing for enhanced defense capabilities and more effective combat operations.
