Ukraine is pushing for self-sufficiency in military technology production, despite Chinese export restrictions.
Ukrainian drone manufacturers have unveiled unique UAVs for reconnaissance and targeting that serve as the first domestically-produced analogues of the Chinese Mavic drones, Ukrinform reports.
The ongoing Russo Ukrainian war has seen the introduction of drone warfare as a key element. Unmanned vehicles, of all sizes, that operate in the air, on the ground, and at sea play a key role. The presentation was organized and presented by Ukraine’s Ministry of Strategic Industries. It featured several Ukrainian drone developers. Minister Herman Smetanin said that these new Ukrainian drones would help Ukraine reduce its dependence on foreign suppliers.
