**Ukraine Targets Russian Facilities with Drones**
Reports have emerged that Ukraine targeted several facilities in Russia using drones. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, 44 drones were shot down overnight on November 20.
**Damage in Belgorod Oblast**
In the town of Alekseevka, Belgorod Oblast Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov reported that drone wreckage damaged an enterprise on November 19. The facility is reportedly owned by EFKO, a sauce manufacturer. However, Ukraine’s counter-disinformation center claimed that the plant also secretly produces cargo drones for the Russian military.
**Drone Strikes in Voronezh Oblast**
Separately, drone strikes were reported in Voronezh Oblast, where local authorities claim five drones struck a civilian industrial facility, starting a fire. The facility is located near Ukraine’s border and has been targeted in cross-border drone strikes before.
**Attack on Russian Military Arsenal**
Ukraine’s counter-disinformation center head Andrii Kovalenko claimed that Ukrainian drones also attacked the 13th Arsenal of Russia’s Defense Ministry in Novgorod Oblast, some 680 kilometers from Ukraine’s border. The arsenal stores critical military supplies, including artillery shells and missiles.
**Russian Response**
Russia’s Defense Ministry claims to have shot down 22 drones over Novgorod Oblast overnight. However, these claims could not be verified by the Kyiv Independent.
**Ukraine’s Resilience Plan**
These strikes come as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced plans to scale up domestic production of long-range drones and missiles. Ukraine aims to manufacture at least 30,000 long-range drones in the coming year and establish a new technology center to enhance its defense capabilities.
