**Ukraine Faces Threat from North Korean Missiles**
Russia has used around 60 North Korean ballistic missiles in its war against Ukraine. These missiles have low accuracy, but they can still cause significant damage.
According to Ukrainian military intelligence, Russia and North Korea have become closer allies since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. They signed an agreement that says they will help each other if one country is attacked.
**Missiles Pose a Threat**
The missiles are not very accurate, but they can still be a problem for Ukraine. “Their accuracy is not very high,” said Andrii Cherniak from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Despite this, he emphasized that the missiles remain a substantial danger.
**Previous Attacks**
In March, Russia launched around 50 North Korean missiles against Ukraine. One confirmed case was a missile strike in the Kharkiv Oblast.
**More Missiles and Weapons Sent to Russia**
North Korea has sent more military resources to Russia, including artillery shells, missiles, and anti-tank weapons. This is according to Bloomberg, which cited South Korean intelligence data.
**The KN-23 Missile System**
The North Korean ballistic missile system used by Russia is called the Hwasong-11Ga. It’s a replica of the Russian Iskander missile system. The Ukrainian president praised the efforts of defense industry employees in enhancing Ukraine’s military strength.
