Anastasiia Bobbyvnikova, a spokesperson for Ukraine‘s Luhansk Operational and Tactical Group, reports that Russian forces have reduced their assault operations in three key directions: Kramatorsk Toretsk and Siversk. This indicates a likely tactic pause.
These areas are important parts of the Donetsk Region in eastern Ukraine. The primary Russian war objective is to control the Donbas, which includes Donetsk region and Luhansk region. Currently, Russian troops occupy 95% Luhansk as well as over half of Donetsk oblast.
Bobovnikova stated during a Ukrainian TV broadcast that “we’re seeing reduced assault activity in this direction.” “Our assessment indicates the enemy has taken an tactical pause to reinforce their manpower and regroup.”
