**Ukraine‘s Tax Service Targets OnlyFans Users**
The Ukrainian tax service is trying to collect taxes from people who make money on the adult content site OnlyFans. OnlyFans is known for hosting videos and photos that are not allowed in Ukraine.
According to reports, 451 people sent in declarations of their income from OnlyFans between 2020 and 2022. The total amount declared was Hr 326.1 million ($7.76 million). These users also paid around Hr 63.2 million ($1.5 million) in taxes.
The tax service sent out requests to many people who earn money on the site, but only a small number responded. The exact number of people who were contacted was not disclosed.
OnlyFans is owned by a British company and pays taxes in Ukraine through electronic services. However, Ukraine’s laws make it difficult for creators to declare their income from the site without admitting guilt.
**Efforts to Change Laws**
Some lawmakers are trying to change the laws surrounding pornography. A bill was recently registered to decriminalize pornography, which could help OnlyFans users.
A popular lawmaker said that over 5,000 people in Ukraine make money through OnlyFans, but many are afraid to declare their income due to fear of legal repercussions.
**Russia-Ukraine Conflict**
Meanwhile, the conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues. The European Union will provide financial assistance to Ukraine worth $36 billion.
Russia’s economic situation is also a concern. NATO officials say that Russia lacks the manpower for a major breakthrough in Ukraine.
