**Ukrainian Railways Back Online After Cyberattack**
On March 27, Ukrainian Railways (Ukrzaliznytsia) announced that it had restored online ticket sales after a large-scale cyberattack. The company’s website and app were unavailable from March 23 due to what was initially described as a “technical failure.”
However, Ukrzaliznytsia later said it had been targeted by a sophisticated cyberattack, which forced the company to take down its online services. After 89 hours of non-stop work, the company was able to restore its website and app.
Despite this, temporary technical interruptions are still affecting services due to the high volume of people trying to buy tickets. Ukrzaliznytsia has advised customers that they can purchase tickets at ticket offices, and trains have been running as normal despite the cyberattack.
**Russia Attacks Infrastructure in Kherson**
On the same day, Russia launched an attack on Ukrzaliznytsia’s infrastructure in Kherson, causing damage to a train station, power and water supply facilities, and a train carriage. The company reported that two people were killed and five others injured in separate Russian strikes.
**Cyberattacks Continue**
This is not the first time Ukraine has been targeted by cyberattacks during the ongoing war with Russia. Several Ukrainian companies and state agencies have been hacked in recent years.
**European Leaders Discuss Military Support**
