**Ukrainian Troops Get Special Training**
The Ukrainian military is getting help from the UK and its allies to deal with a big problem: landmines. The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said that soldiers are being trained in the UK to remove explosive ordnance.
This training program, called Operation Interflex, started in July 2022. It’s designed to help all parts of the Ukrainian military, from infantry to medical staff. The goal is to make sure they’re ready for combat and can do their jobs well.
So far, more than 40,000 Ukrainian soldiers have gone through this training program. They’ll be able to deal with landmines and other explosive threats when they go back to fighting in Ukraine.
