Sexual Violence Ukraine’s War: A Growing Concern

The Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine (HRMMU) has documented 376 cases of sexual violence during ‘s war against Ukraine. The report, released on , is a disturbing reminder of the human cost of this conflict.

Most victims are men, with 262 reported cases, many of whom were tortured while held captive on occupied or in Russia. and have also been affected, with 104 women and 12 children – 10 girls and two boys – being victimized.
