**Judiciary Employees to Go on Strike**
Employees who work in the judiciary will not go to work for one day next Tuesday, March 18. This is what a union representing these employees has announced.
All staff members at courts, public prosecutor’s offices, and institutions that enforce laws will stop working for the whole day. However, they will still handle certain cases. These include cases where people are in jail, cases involving young offenders, domestic violence cases, and situations where someone is asking for temporary protection from a court.
Staff will also process cases where deadlines to do something are close to expiring. If these deadlines pass, some rights may be lost.
The union says it has been trying to resolve its demands with the Ministry of Justice since February 5.
