**Russia-Ukraine War Updates: A 1,134-Day Conflict**

The General Staff of Ukraine has released the latest updates on the war with Russia as of April 2, 2025. The conflict has now reached its 1,134th day, with no signs of a resolution in sight.

**Heavy Fighting Over Past Day**

Over the past 24 hours, there were 176 reported combat clashes between Ukrainian forces and Russian invaders. The enemy launched 101 air strikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements, dropping 171 guided aerial bombs (CABs). In addition, Russia carried out about 5,500 attacks, including 120 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 1,844 kamikaze drones to attack Ukrainian troops.

**Regional Breakdown of Fighting**

The fighting was intense in various regions. In the Kharkiv direction, seven clashes took place near Vovchansk, Krasne Pershe, Kamyanka, and Lyptsy. The enemy launched 11 attacks in the Kupyansk direction, but were repelled by Ukrainian forces in Pishchane, Stepova Novoselivka, Nova Kruglyakivka, and Zagryzove.

In the Lyman direction, Russia attacked 17 times, attempting to advance towards Torske, Novye, Mirne, Novomykhailivka, and Zelenaya Dolyna. In the Siversk direction, the enemy launched attacks near Bilogorivka, Ivano-Daryivka, Verkhnokamyanka, and Serebryanka.

**Defensive Efforts**

Ukrainian forces put up a strong defense against Russian aggression. In the Kramatorsk direction, they repelled three enemy assaults in Chasiv Yar, Kurdyumivka, and Predtechynoye. In the Toretsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 14 attacks near Leonidivka, Dachne, Shcherbynivka, Toretsk, and Diliivka.

In the Pokrovsky direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 64 enemy attacks in Kalynove, Tarasivka, Berezivka, Zelene, Kotlyne, Oleksandropil, Sribne, Vodyane Druge, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Udachne, Novooleksandrivka, Andriivka, and towards Bohdanivka, Novosergiivka, Romanivka, and Pokrovsk.

**Losses on Both Sides**

The conflict has resulted in significant losses for both sides. Over the past day, Russia lost 1,410 soldiers, while Ukrainian forces neutralized 10 tanks, 24 armored combat vehicles, 24 artillery systems, 43 operational-tactical UAVs, and 41 units of automotive equipment.

Since February 24, 2022, the estimated total combat losses for the enemy have been substantial, with over 4,047 losses. This includes tanks (345), armored combat vehicles (822), artillery systems (1,344), and drones (2,351).

**No End in Sight**

The war between Russia and Ukraine shows no signs of ending soon. The ongoing conflict has resulted in significant human suffering, economic damage, and infrastructure destruction.
