**Russia-Ukraine War Updates: Day 1152**
As of April 20, 2024, the Russian invasion of Ukraine has entered its 1152nd day. The Ukrainian General Staff reports that over the past day, there were 127 combat clashes and significant losses for the Russian invaders.
**Enemy Air Strikes and Artillery Attacks**
Yesterday, the enemy carried out 103 air strikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements, dropping 170 KABs (Kabals) and engaging 2781 kamikaze drones. The enemy also launched 5912 artillery attacks, including 115 from multiple launch rocket systems.
**Regional Breakdown of Clashes**
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy twice attempted to advance in vain in the areas of Vovchansk and Mala Shapkivka. In the Kupyansk direction, seven attacks by the invaders took place, with the defense forces repelling assaults near Zagryzovka, Kindrashivka, Novaya Kruglyakivka, and Petropavlivka.
In the Lyman direction, 14 clashes occurred as the enemy attempted to advance in various areas. In the Siversk direction, Ukrainian troops repelled two enemy attacks near Verkhnyokamyanske.
**Heavy Fighting in Pokrovsky Direction**
The most intense fighting took place in the Pokrovsky direction, where our defenders stopped 39 assault actions of the aggressor in various settlements. This was followed by a high number of clashes today, with 20 occurrences recorded as of this morning.
**Enemy Losses and Ukrainian Gains**
Over the past day, the losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 950 soldiers, with one tank, five armored combat vehicles, 49 artillery systems, 64 operational-tactical-level UAVs, 112 vehicles, and one unit of special equipment destroyed. The estimated total combat losses of the enemy since February 24, 2022, now stand at approximately 941,100 personnel, 10,677 tanks, 22,271 troop-carrying AFVs, 26,649 artillery systems, and 1,368 MLRS.
**Current Situation**
Since the beginning of today, 45 combat clashes have taken place on the front. Ukrainian defenders are holding their lines and destroying the Russians’ plans. The enemy continues to launch artillery attacks from the territory of the Russian Federation, targeting areas in the Sumy region.
As the conflict enters its 1152nd day, it remains a challenge for both sides to maintain momentum. However, with continued Ukrainian resilience and determination, the tide of the war may begin to shift in their favor.
