**Russia-Ukraine War Updates: April 3, 2024**
The Russian invasion of Ukraine has entered its 1,135th day. Here are the latest updates from the General Staff of Ukraine.
**Russian Attacks on Ukraine**
Yesterday, Russia launched two missile strikes and 85 air strikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements. The attacks also included 123 KAB (high explosive fragmentation bombs) dropped from planes. In addition, Russia carried out almost 6,400 attacks, with 107 using multiple launch rocket systems. The country‘s forces also used 2,377 kamikaze drones to strike Ukraine.
**Regional Updates**
* **Sumy Region**: Russian air strikes targeted the settlements of Turya, Ugroidy, Mykhailivske, Petrushivka, and Myropilske.
* **Kharkiv Region**: Air strikes hit the area around Kozacha Lopan.
* **Donetsk Region**: Russian forces carried out air strikes on Pokrovsk, Yablunivka, Oleksandro-Kalynove, Malynovka, Nova Poltavka, Grodivka, Udachne, Kotlyarivka, Novopavlivka, Krasna Polyana, Iskra, Odradne, and Novopil.
* **Zaporizhia Region**: The areas around Zaliznychne, Hulyaipole, and Novodarivka were targeted by Russian forces.
**Ukrainian Defense**
The Ukrainian military responded to the attacks with their own strikes on eight areas of concentration of enemy personnel, weapons, and equipment. They also repelled enemy assaults in several locations, including Vovchansk and Kamyanka in the Kharkiv direction, and Zagryzove and Nova Kruglyakivka in the Kupyansk direction.
**Enemy Losses**
The Ukrainian military reported significant losses among Russian forces over the past day. A total of 1,390 Russian soldiers were killed or injured. In addition, six tanks, 22 armored combat vehicles, 49 artillery systems, one MLRS (multiple launch rocket system), and 92 operational-tactical UAVs were destroyed.

The estimated total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to April 3, 2025, are:

* 4,143 artillery systems
* 934 MLRS
