**Russia-Ukraine War Updates: Day 1,024**
December 13, 2024 – The Russian invasion of Ukraine continues with no signs of slowing down. Today marks the 124th day of large-scale armed aggression by Russia.
**Enemy Activity**
Over the past day, there were 210 combat clashes between Ukrainian forces and Russian invaders. The enemy launched 35 airstrikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements, dropping 69 KABs (Katushya Rockets). They also carried out 4,170 attacks, including 103 from multiple launch rocket systems.
**Areas of Conflict**
The most intense fighting took place in the following areas:
* Kharkiv direction: Enemy forces attacked Ukrainian positions eight times near Vovchansk, Hlyboki, and Starytsia.
* Kupyansk direction: Eight attacks were repelled by Ukrainian defenders near Synkivka, Zagryzove, Dvorichnaya, and Lozova.
* Lymansk direction: The enemy attacked 22 times, trying to advance near Kopanky, Novoyehorivka, Lozova, Nadiya, Makiivka, Terni, and in the Serebryansk forest.
Ukrainian forces successfully repelled enemy advances in various directions. They also carried out airstrikes and artillery attacks on Russian positions, destroying 7 areas of concentration of personnel and weapons.
**Russian Losses**
In total, the Russian invaders suffered 1,390 casualties over the past day. Ukrainian soldiers also neutralized:
* 5 tanks
* 31 armored combat vehicles
* 6 artillery systems
* 65 operational-tactical UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles)
* 50 vehicles
**No Signs of Enemy Retreat**
Despite their losses, Russian forces continue to use artillery and aviation in the areas of Ukrainian settlements on the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions. However, there are no signs of enemy groups forming for an attack in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
