**Russia-Ukraine War Updates: January 21, 2024**
The Russia-Ukraine war has entered its 1,063rd day of large-scale invasion and 3,977th day of war. The Ukrainian General Staff reported on the situation as of January 21, 2024.
**Enemy Attacks**
Over the past day, there were 152 combat clashes between Ukrainian forces and Russian invaders. The enemy launched three missile strikes, 72 air strikes, and used 2,653 kamikaze drones. They also carried out almost five thousand shellings, with 91 from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
**Areas Affected**
Air strikes were reported in several areas, including Kozacha Lopan, Novoyehorivka, Zelena Dolyna, Drobysheve, and others. The Ukrainian military also targeted enemy positions, command posts, artillery systems, air defense systems, and warehouses.
**Casualties**
The Russian invaders suffered 1,600 casualties over the past day. Ukrainian forces neutralized 12 tanks, 23 armored combat vehicles, 60 artillery systems, one air defense system, and other equipment.
**Overall Losses**
Since February 24, 2022, the estimated total combat losses of the enemy are:
