**Russia–Ukraine War Updates**
It’s been 1,125 days since Russia invaded Ukraine. Here are the latest updates from the General Staff of Ukraine as of March 24, 2025.
**Enemy Attacks**
The enemy launched 140 attacks on Ukrainian positions yesterday. They also carried out 74 airstrikes and dropped 97 bombs. The aggressor used multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) for 145 attacks and deployed 2,350 kamikaze drones to destroy Ukrainian targets.
**Targets of Enemy Attacks**
The enemy targeted several areas, including:
* Petrushivka, Krasnopillya, Okip, Turya, Uhroidy, Novodmytrivka, and Prokhody in the Sumy region
* Velyka Shapkivka in the Kharkiv region
* Pokrovsk, Oleksandropil, Nova Poltavka, Malynovka, Novosilka, Zelene Pole, Grodivka in Donetsk region
* Novodarivka, Zaliznychne, Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhia region
**Ukrainian Defense**
Over the past day, Ukrainian forces struck 13 areas of enemy concentration and destroyed several targets, including:
* Three UAV control points
* One air defense system
* Three artillery systems
* One other important enemy object
**Battles Won by Ukraine**
Ukrainian soldiers successfully defended their positions in many areas, including:
* Vovchansk in the Kharkiv direction
* Zagryzovo, Petropavlivka, and Bohuslavka in the Kupyansk direction
* Yampolivka, Novy, Novomykhailivka, and Zelenaya Dolyna in the Lyman direction
**Enemy Losses**
The enemy suffered significant losses yesterday, with 1,280 soldiers killed. Ukrainian forces also destroyed:
* Eight tanks
* 16 armored combat vehicles
* 81 artillery systems
* Five MLRS
* One air defense system
* Four helicopters
* 146 operational-tactical UAVs
* 116 vehicles
