**Ukraine-Russia War Updates**
As of November 19, 2024, the General Staff of Ukraine has released updates on the ongoing conflict with Russia. This marks the 1,000th day of Russia’s large-scale invasion and war against Ukraine.
**Russian Aggression**
In the past 24 hours, there were 143 combat clashes recorded between Ukrainian forces and Russian invaders. The enemy launched two missile strikes, 77 airstrikes, and dropped 123 anti-aircraft missiles on Ukrainian positions and populated areas. Additionally, they carried out over 4,900 attacks, including 152 from rocket salvo systems.
**Targeted Strikes**
Ukrainian forces responded with targeted strikes, hitting the enemy’s control center for UAVs, an artillery system, two warehouses of material and technical equipment, a Zhytel ERB station, and other important targets. These strikes were carried out by aviation and missile forces and artillery.
**Regional Updates**
In the Kharkiv direction, six combat clashes took place in the Vovchansk district. In the Kupyan direction, there were nine attacks per day, with Ukrainian defenders repelling enemy assaults near Krugliakivka and Lozova. The Lymansky direction saw six enemy attacks near Novolyubivka, Torsky, and Bilogorivka.
**Enemy Losses**
Over the past day, Russian invaders lost 1,610 people, with Ukrainian forces destroying 17 tanks, 33 armored combat vehicles, 46 artillery systems, 38 UAVs, one cruise missile, 120 vehicles, and 17 units of enemy special equipment. The estimated total combat losses of the enemy since February 24, 2022, are:
* Personnel: approximately 724,050 people
* Tanks: 9,382 tanks
* Artillery systems: 20,632 artillery systems
* MLRS: 1,252 multiple launch rocket systems
**Border Activities**
The Russian military continues to maintain a presence on the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, carrying out shelling of populated areas from Russian territory. However, Ukrainian forces are actively inflicting significant losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment, exhausting them along the entire line of battle.
