The US Department of State’s 2022 Report on Human Practices states that “the government took steps investigate certain officials human right abuses, but impunity was still problem.”
According to the report the government’s failure of credibly investigating and prosecuting the organizers of July 2021 ahead of the Pride March led to impunity for these abuses.
