US Thinks North Korea Is Sending Arms to Russia for Ukraine War
The United States thinks that North Korea is getting ready to send more weapons to Russia. These weapons will be used in the war between Russia and Ukraine.
North Korea and Russia have made a deal where they agree to help each other if either country is attacked. This means that North Korea will give military aid to Russia, and Russia will do the same for North Korea.
US diplomat Robert Wood told the UN Security Council about this situation. He said that Russia has already received many containers of ammunition and equipment from North Korea last year. They also got over 100 ballistic missiles, which were used to attack Ukrainian cities.
In return, Russia gave North Korea air defense systems, fuel, technology, and other important things.
The US wants China, another powerful country, to talk to North Korea and stop them from sending more weapons to Russia.
