US Aid to Ukraine Should Last Through 2025, Says State Department.
The US government says it has enough money to help Ukraine with its defense until the end of 2025. This was stated by Matthew Miller, a spokesperson for the State Department.
There have been discussions in Congress about how much aid should be given to Ukraine. Some people are worried that if Donald Trump becomes president again, he might not give as much support to Ukraine.
The US has already set aside $61 billion to help Ukraine with its defense. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on December 4th that the government is ready to use all this money to help Ukraine.
This news comes at a time when there are concerns about what will happen after January 2025, when the current president leaves office.
