**US Ambassador Condemns Russia’s 1,000-Day Invasion**
The US Ambassador to the United Nations has strongly condemned Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The war is now in its 1,000th day.
Speaking at a UN Security Council briefing on November 18, Ambassador Linda Thomas–Greenfield highlighted the devastating effects of the war. She mentioned systematic war crimes, threats to use nuclear weapons, and damage to Ukraine’s infrastructure.
**International Community Speaks Out**
The invasion has been widely condemned by other countries as well. The Council of Europe emphasized Russia’s violations of international law, Ukrainians’ bravery, and its support for Ukraine’s sovereignty.
Meanwhile, the UK Foreign Ministry has reiterated its opposition to Putin‘s actions, calling it a breach of international law and Euro-Atlantic security. They reaffirmed their commitment to supporting Ukraine as it marks this grim milestone.
