Uzbekistan stated that it would not recognize the proxy authorities of Donetsk and Luhansk, and would support Ukraine’s territorial integrity at the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion.
Tashkent is still actively trading with Moscow and the Uzbek leadership maintains close ties to the Russian leadership.
