**US Vice President Says Energy Infrastructure Ceasefire in Place**
US Vice President JD Vance said on March 28 that a ban on strikes against Ukrainian and Russian energy facilities is in effect. He made the statement during a visit to Greenland.
**Repeated Accusations of Violations**
However, Ukraine accused Russia of repeatedly violating the ceasefire. President Volodymyr Zelensky claimed that Russian forces attacked energy infrastructure in the city of Kherson. Kyiv also accused Russia of attacking energy infrastructure in Poltava Oblast.
**Russia’s Response**
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said that Russia adheres to the energy ceasefire, but “reserves the right” to abandon it if Ukraine violates the agreement. Moscow has blamed Ukraine for an attack on a gas metering station, which Kyiv rejected as propaganda.
**Ukraine’s Military Strikes**
Ukraine’s Air Force struck the Pogar border checkpoint in Russia’s Bryansk Oblast on March 27, destroying its military infrastructure and killing dozens of Russian troops.
**Russia Launches Drone Attacks**
Russia launched 172 attack and decoy drones against Ukraine overnight. Ukrainian air defenses shot down 94 drones, while 69 disappeared from radars without causing damage.
**IMF Aid for Ukraine**
The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) approved the disbursement of $400 million in funds for Ukraine via the Extended Fund Facility.
**Ukraine’s Military Plans**
President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukraine is working to finalize agreements with European nations for additional military aid shipments and expanded intelligence sharing ahead of the next Ramstein summit.
