**Police Warns Rally Participants Against Violence**
The head of the Tbilisi Patrol Police, Vazha Siradze, has urged rally participants to stay within the law. He made this statement to reporters as a protest was underway near the Parliament building.
Siradze warned that the Ministry of Internal Affairs would take strict measures to prevent violent actions. He mentioned that two people had already been detained for administrative reasons after they threw objects and broke windows at the parliament entrance, setting rooms on fire.
The rally has only just begun, but Siradze is concerned about the potential for violence. “Some individuals have started violent actions,” he said. “I call on the participants of the rally, especially those who are called to aggression, not to go beyond the framework of the law.”
Siradze pointed out that in recent days, protesters had burned and destroyed equipment all over the city. He emphasized that the police would prevent any further violent acts.
“We will definitely prevent them,” he said. “We warn everyone not to go beyond the law, otherwise the Ministry of Internal Affairs will take the strictest measures.”
