from Bristol are preparing for a long journey to Ukraine. They will drive a car full of medical aid and supplies across Europe to help those in need.

The group, consisting of Natalie Chick, Lewis Lloyd, Alice Banahan, and Knight, all work for the ambulance service in Bristol. They plan to travel 1,318 miles (2,121km) from Bristol to over three days.

**Aid Needed**

The friends are still short of £1,700 to cover the costs of their trip. They are appealing for donations and medical aid to help them on their way. The charity Driving Ukraine has provided a Toyota Hilux and most of the aid, but more equipment is needed.

“We’re still missing some vital supplies,” said Christian Knight. “Every piece of equipment counts, and the more we have, the better.”

**Dangerous Journey**

The friends know that their journey will be dangerous, but they are determined to make it. They face the risk of attacks and other hazards as they travel through Europe.

“We’re aware of the risks,” said Natalie Chick. “But we know the help is needed, and we can provide it.”

**Protecting the Vehicle**

To protect themselves and their vehicle, the friends plan to paint it in camouflage colours and potentially fit a device to jam signals.

The group hopes to leave on March and arrive in Lviv soon after. They are counting on public to help them complete their mission.
